Who we are
At Proverbs 22 Academy, we partner with Christian families in rural, central Texas to educate students in a close-knit, multi-age setting, instilling Christian values and a deep respect for God's creation through practical, hands-on agricultural and classical academic learning that honors our rural heritage.
Academics
Our academics offer a well-rounded, education with Christ at the center of all areas of learning. We explore the Bible, Language, Literature, Art, Music, History, Geography, Mathematics, and Science with content-rich material emphasizing foundational skills in reading, writing, and mathematics aiming to cultivate intellectual and moral character in students. We proudly use My Father’s World curriculum to serve our students.
For High School students, we dig a little deeper as we explore various career paths, partnering with local tradesmen or experts in the students’ field of interest to gain real world experiences.
Life Skills
Our true Life Skills program allows all students hands-on experience with planting, nurturing, and maintaining a garden, harvesting, and preserving the food we grow. Students will gain experience with tending animals, and learn how to utilize what God has provided in nature to help sustain us. The dream is for students to be able to share the food we grow and raise with members of our local community through a donations based Schoolhouse Food Pantry. We also hope to offer other skills needed for life, such as woodworking, sewing, cooking, and other various skills on a rotational or seasonal basis.
Nondiscriminatory Policy
Proverbs 22 Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, sponsorship programs, and other school-administered programs.
