We proudly offer robust curriculum and programs that are instructed by certified educators. In order to provide high quality educational materials and experiences that remain a viable option for our community’s children, tuition is a must. We worked hard to ensure that our tuition is considerably more affordable than typical private school tuition. We also offer different payment options to help our families better meet their needs. If tuition is a financial burden for your family, please reach out to us. We will try our best to help pair you with a Sponsorship Donor.

Our desire is to provide an alternative to traditional public schools, which are required by state/government to enforce standardized testing, minimum classroom hours, and curriculum requirements which are at times inappropriate and non-conducive with a Christian viewpoint. For this reason we have intentionally chosen to be non-accredited by the state of Texas or any other government accrediting agency. Our teachers are certified in Texas, and we do require background checks for all staff and volunteers with consistent direct access to the children (excluding supervised volunteers such as fellow parents). Our school falls under the Texas private school and home-school laws.

Texas law does not require Elementary and Middle School transcripts. We will not keep letter grades for elementary students, but will keep records for progress. For High School students, we will provide a transcript that will keep track of all required credit hours for graduation and college entrance purposes. Many colleges have a list of requirements for home-school or micro-school applicants, and we will work with students to ensure they have the appropriate documents for applications to the schools of their choice.

Traditionally known as a One-Room Schoolhouse, the modern terminology has shifted to label these models as micro-schools. This model is different from the public school’s one size fits all learning model. In the micro-school model, students of all ages and abilities learn together, but at their own pace. The multi-age learning environment allows for peer to peer learning, where the older students help younger students, which reinforces their own learning and boosts confidence for all ages. Students learn valuable skills as they navigate through hands on experiences and collaboration. If you look back in history, some of the world’s most talented inventors and creators were students in this type of one-room schoolhouse model!

We will utilize technology to provide an exceptional math program that will allow students to work on their own independent path of coursework based on their individual needs. All other courses and activities will be technology free. The only other time technology will be utilized is for various High School or post high school opportunities. The vast majority of our academic learning will take place surrounding real (not digital) textbooks, reading real books, and using paper and pen/pencil.
